“ My visit here today was my first time trying Senegalese cuisine and I was very pleasantly surprised! My friend has frequented this restaurant before and she chose it for her birthday Lucy spot. She had the vegetarian plate and I had the yassa salmon. The salmon had a nice, light crispness on the outer skin, and was cooked perfectly so the inside was still tender and flaky. The grilled onion garnish was seasoned deliciously to the point that the onions take on a different texture! Really tasty! And the rice was cooked perfectly and provided a nice balance to the meal! I tasted a bit of my friend’s vegetarian plate and it was also delicious. All of the food was really well prepared and seasoned. The owner was our server and was so attentive and kind. The restaurant is also next door to a Senegalese clothing and goods store, same owner! Beautiful store!! I am a new fan of this place and Senegalese food! ”
“ BEST LAMB EVER. RED SNAPPER IS ALSO A HIT! I was in the area looking at a home to purchase in Kenwood. As I was diving down the street leaving the house. I saw this restaurant and decided that I would come and try the cuisine. Oh my goodness, the food is absolutely amazing. I highly highly recommend the red snapper and the lamb leg. It is probably some of the best lamb I have ever tasted and I eat out quite often. The service is OK but who cares when the food is just totally amazing. I also recommend trying their in-house ginger juice mixed with the in-house hibiscus juice so good so fresh yeah you just have to go and try this place! ”

“ The food was phenomenal - I had the Yassa lamb and a side of plantains. It was superb - the lamb was tender and well seasoned, the rice had a nice spicy kick, and the plantains were cooked perfectly with a little crunch on the ends. I mixed everything together. I also tasted some of my friend’s tilapia, which was fantastic as well. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, but it was worth the wait. I definitely plan to go back. ”

“ We truly enjoyed our food and the service! I never had lamb chops sliced like flat iron steak. It was delicious. Please try the djolof rice, amazing! And these salmon bites, fatay, was so fresh and crisp! We loved them! Also, the bissap drink is soooo good. We ordered some to go! Check them out! Large portions, good prices, and the leftovers heated up well! Plus, afrobeats were playing in the background! ”
